Virgo's Full Moon in Pisces, February 22nd- The Full Snow Moon
Full Snow Moon – February Since the heaviest snow usually falls during this month, native tribes of the north and east most often called February’s full Moon the Full Snow Moon. Some tribes also referred to this Moon as the Full Hunger Moon, since harsh weather conditions in their areas made hunting very difficult. -The Farmer's Almanac
There is something beautiful about a winter Full Moon. For those up in the north latitudes who have snow, the Full Moon casts it light on the ground giving it a warm glow. No wonder the native tribes called this Virgo Full Moon the Full Snow Moon.
A Virgo in Pisces lunation crosses the analytical Goddess of perfection with the highly sensitive fish. Working together they form an integration of keen intelligence, competency, artistic flair, and emotional sentience. Opposed, they conjure cognitive dissonance, obsession, disorientation, and lack of focus. Which will you choose?
For sun, moon, and ascending Virgos, this is a terrific time to let go of the constant need to be competent and enjoy just being. Lighten up and revel in the unexpected simple joys that will be coming your way. After all, Jupiter is also in Virgo showering anyone who has a natal sign the virginal goddess with luck and serendipity. This is an important spiritual time to heed the sign of the times and change without resistance.
Happy Birthday Pisces!
