THE SAN DIEGO WOMEN'S MARCH

Today we marched in San Diego to show solidarity for the rights of women and send a message to our new President that we are a powerful united force! We will not go away, be politically gagged, or submit to bullying by a President and/or electorate wanting to roll back the hands of time.

I marched today to honor the sacrifices of those women who championed the rights of women, for my deceased mother, grandmother, and aunts who had limited options, and for all women of the world oppressed by inequity.

I am heartened as I see the marches from all over the world. These demonstrations were a glimmer of light dispelling the apprehensive darkness haunting our new political reality. Oh yes we did....send a undeniable message!
