Trump: Making America Rape Again

I just finished another communique with Mr. Trump about my outrage of yet another one of his cabinet gang plundering taxpayer money by chartering expensive air travel. With the mass devastation suffered by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria impacting thousands of lives, we see money sorely needed for humanitarian actions lavishly being spent by the 'Swamp' deniers on their egotistical lifestyles. The 'fake news' media has reported Trump spends an average of 5 million dollars every time he flies to Florida to golf. Tom Price, our HHSA Secretary, has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars flying anywhere he wants, and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin believes it is his God-given right to impress his trophy wife in the presidential airbus. For being 'fake news', they are quick to respond with their rationalizations.

Trump campaigned on 'Making America Great Again'. He and his Cabinet should have campaigned on 'Making America Rape Again', since this is precisely what we witness daily. Are we really surprised by this? None of them seem to think there is anything wrong with ransacking public coffers to satisfy their avaricious whims. Why not? Just look at Mr. Trump's history with women-his behavior speaks volumes about the power of preying on the vulnerable because of privilege. Leading by example, he takes what he wants, does what he wants, and expects us to enjoy being penetrated by his lust for attention, power, and money. We are not allowed to say 'no', 'stop', cry for help, or 'don't grab my pussy'.

Tom Price's resignation is yet another revolving door of shame for the Trump Administration. But don't worry, there's plenty more of his robber baron cronies waiting in Trump Tower lined up to be considered as their replacements. Because Trump lives in a Sodom and Gomorrah aristocracy, finding qualified candidates with integrity is like finding a camel passing through an eye of a needle. BTW:  I don't doubt Trump thinks his needle is the biggest.

The King of the Swamp will continue his predatory antics until he is impeached. We are his rape victims witnessing an era of sincere delusion where his words are tweeted braggadocio, his actions despicable, and there is no hope of any of his dangerous posturing relenting.

But I refuse to be his rape victim. Until he repeals the First Amendment or gets us blown up by North Korea, I will continue to use my voice to write the White House frequently with my opposition to his presidency. When the 2018 elections come, I will vote for change. Whenever there is a protest against his racist, misogynistic, homophobic, and anti-science stances, I will join them. Therein lies our hope.

The Autumnal Equinox

"I am created for a purpose that I am guided toward fulfilling.' Isn't this a lovely thought from the 'Daily Word' for this autumnal equinox morning? Sometimes we forget that the routine of life is not the only reality; we have been given the gift of inspiration and imagination to determine fulfilling another path.
Today the autumnal equinox knocks on our door at 1:02pm Pacific time. Just days after the New Moon in Virgo, this equinox is urging us to appreciate balance-the kind of equilibrium that allows a fresh perspective to emerge unblemished by the discursive thinking of opposing points of view. The Virgo New Moon days ago has also blessed us with a wake up call to begin anew. Today the day and night are fraternal twins, equal as we move into the season of brilliant colors, cooler temps, and the lessening of light.
"What does equinox mean? The word equinox was formed by two Latin words: "Equi" is the Latin prefix for "equal" and "nox" is the Latin word for "night." The equal refers to the fact that the amount of daylight and darkness on this day are nearly equal." -The New Jersey Times News
As we end one season, we begin another. We are reminded of the natural cycle of change. Endings and beginnings are always connected. What is the autumnal equinox asking you to begin and to end? From the point of view of balance, where are you headed in this transitional season?
We now enter the sign of Libra, symbolically represented by scales. This is another symbol of the need to weigh and measure where we are in our life. This need not be a heavy weighty time but one of lightening whatever is keeping us off balance.
          Happy Autumnal Equinox.

Good bye Mercury Retrograde, Hello Full Moon in Pisces

'Full Corn Moon or Full Harvest Moon – September This full moon’s name is attributed to Native Americans because it marked when corn was supposed to be harvested. Most often, the September full moon is actually the Harvest Moon, which is the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September.'  -the Farmer's Almanac

Hello September,
We are welcomed by your cooler, drier autumn temps and dazzled by the beginnings of the change of this season. August's eclipses were a rough wake up call for many; with September's arrival things will settle as we adapt to events, people, and circumstances which eclipsed out of our lives last month. Mercury turns direct today making communications more understandable whether we like it or not. But first we honor September's full moon in Pisces.
As the opposite sign of Virgo, Pisces presents a watery, more emotional influence this lunation. Relationships of all kinds will be highlighted along with the phrase, "should I stay or should I go?" Usually full moons bring closure, though closure can also look like decisive action so one can move forward in confidence. Today being the end of retrograde Mercury is not the best time to make this decision, as Mercury is a trickster which may only allow you to see a limited perspective. Still there will be a sense that emotionally things cannot go forward without some communication about commitment.
Pisces balances Virgo's logic and service by offering compassion and a mystical sense of spirituality. Though Scorpions are most known for their psychic-like intuitions, our Pisceans use their uncanny abilities to highlight their emotional sentience. They may not behave logically, but they are more in tune with the emotional undercurrents which governs most situations. It is this kind of global feeling we are being asked to get in touch with-our intuitive inner self which has armored instead of comforted oneself. Self-compassion is the first step to uncovering what needs to be revealed during this heart-centered lunation.
For those of us battered by August's eclipses, we are being offered a respite during this full moon. Rebuilding after having people or things eclipse out requires us to grieve and release. The Pisces full moon will provide the warmth, support, and comfort to begin healing. Adjustment and starting over requires courage when one's life has been shaken to the core by change. We will be able to tap into our inner core to start down the path of reconstruction this month. This is our chance to choose again with the promise of fresh new beginning.
Happy Birthday to all my fellow Virgos.
