Happy Impeachment Day!

Other reasons Trump is so deserving of impeachment:
His childish jealousy, bullying, & inability
to grasp climate change.
Misogynistic treatment of women.

Kids in cages.
His narcissistic behavior.
Endless idiotic tweets.

Trump has spent 123 days golfing, or 1/5 of his term, at
a cost to taxpayers of $72,181,957. -Seattle Times

His inability to govern.

His treasonous relationships.

White male privilege, hatred of
people of color, and his homophobia.

And Finally,

Why I Continue to Email Trump

Let's face it, we all love horror movies. There is a side of us that loves to be surprised, scared, and suspended in disbelief. However, I draw the line when my reality becomes a fright fest.
Like adult children of alcoholics, we wake up every morning shuttering to a new nonsensical rageaholic tweet, finding out the latest cabinet member to be fired, or what major international incident Trump has created. Like Pennywise the clown that haunts our nightmares, Trump haunts us 24/7.
The good news is that Trump has not signed an executive order that sharpies out our 1st Amendment. That is why I email him frequently to share my anger, frustration, and disgust at his mentally unstable behavior. He may not believe the polls, but he does sometimes yield to anything he perceives as making him unpopular or the liar he is. The best way to do this is to email him. He cannot say his negative email is faked.
I encourage everyone to email him at:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ to share your concerns about the issues that matter.

Trump Sharpies Out John Bolton

Dear John Bolton,
Your Security Council wish has one less permanent member today. Mr. Trump took his sharpie and X'd you out of his administration. Take the revolving door out that many before you have taken. Now you are truly a no one going no where. Best wishes on writing your book on the Trump dynasty who screwed you over.

Melania Gets a Hometown Life-like Statue

By Reuters
ROZNO, Slovenia — A life-size rough wooden sculpture of U.S. first lady Melania Trump was unveiled near her hometown of Sevnica in southeastern Slovenia on Friday.
Commissioned by Berlin-based American artist Brad Downey and carved with a chainsaw by local folk artist Ales Zupevc, the statue serves as a — perhaps wry — accompaniment to Downey's exhibition in the capital Ljubljana exploring Melania's roots in the small Alpine country.
The blocky, rustic figure was cut from the trunk of a living linden tree - whose base forms a tall plinth - in a field beside the Sava River in the village of Rozno, five miles from Sevnica.
Critics may argue about this magnificent work of art, but nothing capture's Melania's Eastern European origin, or her Slovenian Sphinx look, as this "Be Best" statue. -Atira

Trump on His Coup d'etat Narrative

Dear Mr. Trump,

'Coup D'état | Definition of Coup D'état by Merriam-Webster
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/coup d'état

Definition of coup d'état. plural coups d'état or coups d'etat play \ˌkü-(ˌ)dā-ˈtä, ˈkü-(ˌ)dā-ˌtä, -də-\. : a sudden decisive exercise of force in politics; especially. : the violent overthrow or alteration of an existing government by a small group, a military coup d'état of the dictator.'-Merriam Webster

So when you speak of a 'coup' against you, are you finally admitting you really are a dictator? Your avarice, lying, and need for unconditional approval/power meets all the qualifications. See the following:

'A dictator is a political leader who possesses absolute power. A state which is ruled by a dictator is called a dictatorship. The word originated as the title of a magistrate in the Roman Republic appointed by the Senate to rule the republic in times of emergency (see Roman dictator and justitium).

Like the term "tyrant" (which was originally a non-pejorative Ancient Greek title), and to a lesser degree "autocrat", "dictator" came to be used almost exclusively as a non-titular term for oppressive, even abusive rule. Thus, in modern usage, the term "dictator" is generally used to describe a leader who holds or abuses an extraordinary amount of personal power. Dictatorships are often characterized by some of the following: suspension of elections and civil liberties; proclamation of a state of emergency; rule by decree; repression of political opponents; not abiding by the rule of law procedures, and cult of personality. Dictatorships are often one-party or dominant-party states. -Wikipedia

Sound familiar? Maybe one of your staff can translate into sixth grade English so you can comprehend the big words and concepts.

Sincerely,
Atira

Roger Stone's Pole Dancing Politics

Couth this be Roger Stone rehearsing for his new strip club gig?
"Roger Stone has two very important speaking gigs in his future: one is in court over his alleged lying and witness tampering during the Mueller investigation.
The other is at a Richmond, Virginia strip club, where he’s scheduled to give a paid speech next month, despite opposition from local activists. Stone has fallen on hard financial times since he was arrested on federal charges late last year. President Trump’s long-time political adviser is currently awaiting trial on several counts relating to his alleged communications with WikiLeaks during the 2016 election. After pleading not guilty, he was let out on a $250,000 bond. That and lawyers’ fees have rendered him effectively bankrupt, he says." -The Daily Beast

My how the mighty have fallen. This is the sad downfall of a dirty trickster clown. Mr. Stone may want to read my blog on "Paying Off Karmic Debt".

Jussie Smollett's Dagger in the Heart of Crime Victims

An Actual Victim of a Hate Crime
One can only wonder if money changed hands in the Jussie Smollett case of engineering a his own hate crime. There seems like there was plenty of evidence to believe beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it. The prosecutors in the Smollett case may not have wanted to touch this case because the Chicago's history of their police brutalizing innocent black men. Whatever the reason, the damage is done. Actual victims of crime, who already are frightened to confront perpetrators, will now reckon with, 'why bother, no one will believe me anyway'.

Every victim of a real crime knows this routine: men in power and people of means know how to circumvent the legal system. This is precisely why real victims of crime do not come forward. What Jussie Smollett's case has done is reinforce stereotypes espoused by Trump and other perpetrators: that they are the victim here. Smollett's case is even more deplorable because of being an openly gay African American and having media visibility. Women and minority victims already face incredible obstacles in the criminal prosecution of their offenders. This is a phenomenal setback for all victims of crime not matter what their race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion is.

I am not a fan of 'Empire' nor will I be now that they are welcoming him back with open arms. They are his institutional co-conspirators in the decline of justice. Mr. Smollett got what he wanted in designing his victimization: more media coverage and probably a raise. But he will not be so easily released from his karmic debt of falsifying his victimization for fame and fortune.

My only suggestion is that everyone boycott 'Empire' until he is terminated from employment.

Misogynist of the Year Award Goes to: Tucker Carlson

'Below are some of Carlson's comments, transcribed by Media Matters for America, that are triggering calls for an advertiser boycott:
  • "I am not defending underage marriage at all. I just don't think it's the same thing exactly as pulling a child from a bus stop and sexually assaulting that child."
  • "I'll tell you one thing that can be done immediately is to eliminate rape shield laws ... we always had these feminists on who kind of, 'Well, because no one would ever report rape.' Really? I don't know. Women seem to be adults to me. I mean, in other words, if you are grievously injured by another person, it's not your fault. I don't understand why, if you're an adult, you just can't get up and say, 'This is what the person did to me.'"
  • "I got to be honest with you. I don't like [Supreme Court justice Elena Kagan] and I wouldn't vote to confirm her if I were a U.S. senator. But I do feel sorry for her in that way. I feel sorry for unattractive women. I mean it's nothing they did. You know, she didn't. Nobody deserves that. And men are just mean."
  • "You debate politics with a woman and just go — just full blown out there, especially feminism. If you're talking to a feminist, and she's given you, "Well, men really need to be more sensitive," [say] no, actually, men don't need to be more sensitive. You just need to be quiet and kind of do what you're told."
  • "Because [women] hate weakness. They're like dogs that way. They can smell it on you, and they have contempt for it; they'll bite you.
  • "I mean, I love women, but they're extremely primitive, they're basic, they're not that hard to understand. And one of the things they hate more than anything is weakness in a man." -CBS News
Runner Up Misogynist of the Year: Donny Trump, Jr.

This is how to handle the outrage mob. Remember, even the most sincere apology means nothing to them. They want to break and ruin you. That’s their end goal.

And the GOP wonders why there is a 'me, too' movement and a Women's March. Yes, we are outraged, offended, disgusted, and are united in no longer putting up with abusive behavior and speech towards all women.

ALL THE PRESIDENT'S LIARS

After watching Michael Cohen's wrenching testimony in front of Congress, one has to wonder what it would be like to have lived a high life of telling turbo-charged lies for a despot only to end up being publicly humiliated and facing incarceration. No matter what his motivation was behind his testimony, the acrimonious questions asked of him, mostly by the white male GOP members (who even brought in a African American prop to prove Mr. Trump wasn't racist), displayed an alarming defense of their President whose blatant illegal, unethical, immoral, and avaricious nationalist fervor rivals most dictators. But what was most surprising about the expected GOP assault on Cohen is that they did not defend what a good president they have in Trump, but focused on Cohen being a liar instead. The GOP's confidence in Trump is like saying forget that Jeffrey Dahmer killed and ate his victims-at least he was a good cook. To his credit, Mr. Cohen reminded them all he was once in their Trump-loving shoes and warned them of the peril they all may face one day at Trump's hands. It will be called Mueller, the Southern District of New York, impeachment, and the 2020 elections.

And a liar Mr. Cohen has been, all at the behest of the man who perfected lifelong sophistry: Donald Trump. Look at all the president's men who have protected him by lying: Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, George Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn, and Rick Gates (and more to come). "That group is composed of six former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Seven of these people (including five of the six former Trump advisers) have pleaded guilty." (from Vox.com). Lying and criminal activity seems to be the hallmark of the Trump presidency. Is this the new GOP standard for MAGA?

"Combined with terror to intimidate those who did not comply, a new state propaganda apparatus headed by Joseph Goebbels (reincarnated by Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Trump administration) manipulated and deceived the German (GOP) population and the outside world (the outside world is not as gullible). Propagandists (fear mongering Republicans) preached an appealing message of national unity and a utopian future (rich white people only) that resonated with millions of Germans (MAGA fanatics). They also waged campaigns that facilitated the persecution of Jews (Women, Mexicans, Blacks, Muslims, etc) and others excluded from the Nazi (Trump) vision of the “National Community (Nationalism).” -from United States Holocaust Museum website with my edits in blue

THE 'ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE' BY DONALD TRUMP

The FAKE NEWS media (failing , , , , ) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!

DEAR DONALD TRUMP, AKA INDIVIDUAL-1,
          ACCORDING TO THE FIRST AMENDMENT:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Support Our Furloughed Employees: Send a Paper Plate Message to Trump

"Protesters began by standing in silence for 33 minutes — one for each day of the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.
Inside the Hart Senate Office Building, where protest signs are banned, workers instead wrote messages on Styrofoam plates.
“Jobs not walls,” read one.
“Will work for pay,” read another.
“Please let us work,” said several more.
As they held the empty plates in their hands, several furloughed workers said they were reminded of how drastically their circumstances had changed since the shutdown began Dec. 22." -Washington Post
These furloughed workers came up with a genius idea: send the President a paper plate with a message to end the government shutdown now. After all, didn't the President tweet to his crazy constituency to send bricks to Pelosi? If the President got enough paper plates, this would be a concrete indication of just how much all of us want this ill-conceived hostage taking of the American public to end.

To send your paper plate, address it to:

Covington Cath Teens: Defending Racism as School Spirit

"Covington Catholic High School’s increasing notoriety has only pushed it further into the mud. As students tag-teamed their way through the morning shows Wednesday, one student found himself defending blackface as “showing school spirit” on Fox & Friends." -Fox News
Covington Catholic basketball game replete with blackface.
Too bad Covington Catholic High School is devoid of history teachers.
