THE MILLION WOMEN MARCH

On January 21st, the day after the inauguration, women of this country appalled by the election of a serial sexual predator, will peacefully assemble in Washington and other major cities in the United States to demonstrate our solidarity. Now more than ever women of this country need to send a message to Washington that we will not allow the new leadership to deny us our fundamental rights. For too long women have endured sexual predation without justice, making less wages than our male counterparts, unequal access to opportunity, and increasingly restricted reproductive rights. Let all of us gather on this day to stand in unity. Our new Congress will have to recognize that we are a formidable voting block and will exercise our constitutional rights to fight for laws protecting women.
