Good bye Mercury Retrograde, Hello Full Moon in Pisces

'Full Corn Moon or Full Harvest Moon – September This full moon’s name is attributed to Native Americans because it marked when corn was supposed to be harvested. Most often, the September full moon is actually the Harvest Moon, which is the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September.'  -the Farmer's Almanac

Hello September,
We are welcomed by your cooler, drier autumn temps and dazzled by the beginnings of the change of this season. August's eclipses were a rough wake up call for many; with September's arrival things will settle as we adapt to events, people, and circumstances which eclipsed out of our lives last month. Mercury turns direct today making communications more understandable whether we like it or not. But first we honor September's full moon in Pisces.
As the opposite sign of Virgo, Pisces presents a watery, more emotional influence this lunation. Relationships of all kinds will be highlighted along with the phrase, "should I stay or should I go?" Usually full moons bring closure, though closure can also look like decisive action so one can move forward in confidence. Today being the end of retrograde Mercury is not the best time to make this decision, as Mercury is a trickster which may only allow you to see a limited perspective. Still there will be a sense that emotionally things cannot go forward without some communication about commitment.
Pisces balances Virgo's logic and service by offering compassion and a mystical sense of spirituality. Though Scorpions are most known for their psychic-like intuitions, our Pisceans use their uncanny abilities to highlight their emotional sentience. They may not behave logically, but they are more in tune with the emotional undercurrents which governs most situations. It is this kind of global feeling we are being asked to get in touch with-our intuitive inner self which has armored instead of comforted oneself. Self-compassion is the first step to uncovering what needs to be revealed during this heart-centered lunation.
For those of us battered by August's eclipses, we are being offered a respite during this full moon. Rebuilding after having people or things eclipse out requires us to grieve and release. The Pisces full moon will provide the warmth, support, and comfort to begin healing. Adjustment and starting over requires courage when one's life has been shaken to the core by change. We will be able to tap into our inner core to start down the path of reconstruction this month. This is our chance to choose again with the promise of fresh new beginning.
Happy Birthday to all my fellow Virgos.
